rad music app

Rad is a developed music app created to understand the nuances between UI and UX. Rad seeks to create a platform that addresses universal user experience and connection, while also catering to individuality. The deliverables focus on a social aspect including in-app music sharing, posting, and personalized listening data, as well as a curated profile page to aid user experience. Through extensive research, development, and refinement, the app explores effective design and respective valuable user experience.

You can only have a certain number of skips when listening to music unless you have spotify premium

Yearly listened to music playlist

Allow for more skips for non premium users and make playlists for you that are song that may be out of your comfort zone to expand your musical horizon

“Liked songs” feature because those are songs that i have specifically chosen and enjoy listening to

Home, browse, radio, your library, your playlists

6.  What areas of the app are reviewed positively?
Extensive music library, radio stations, discover weekly, yearly wrapped, summer rewind, top charts, recommended music

7.  What areas of the app are reviewed negatively?
Doesn’t guide you to new artists, doesn’t allow to add songs to multiple playlists, home screen is very cluttered, can only skip a certain amount of songs without premium

Dark interface, with different formats from the website to mobile, contrasting dark black with green, san serif font
